About "The Last Great Flyer" The filming of the documentary about Miguel Vazuez, his brother Juan and their families is, in part, a way to offer my respect to the heroes of my youth. As a boy, I could not have met the greatest circus flyer ever…he hadn’t been born yet. Having now met the greatest flyer, I am impacted by the realization of how much in circus is different from the past. And the realization that Miguel Angel Vazquez could be “The Last Great Circus Flyer”. In the film I’ll tell you why…and along the way show you and relate to you the story of one of the greatest performers in circus history.
